Weekly Park Programs
Woodchase Park offers FREE programming for adults and children throughout the week. Read below to see our current program offerings.
Programs may be subject to change and/or cancellation due to unforeseen circumstances or holidays. Be sure to view our calendar, and follow us on social media, for the latest updates.
Park programming hours September – November are Monday – Friday 4:30 pm – 7:30 pm and Saturday – Sunday 9:00 am – 7:30 pm. During this time security and guest services attendants are on site, all park amenities are available and special park programs are scheduled.

Pop-up Soccer
Mondays, Wednesdays and Fridays
4:30 pm
Enjoy a game of pop up soccer on the event lawn. We’ll have soccer nets and balls ready on our activity lawn, so bring your friends and family for a fun, free game. All skill levels welcome!

Children’s Bingo
Tuesdays & Thursdays
4:30 pm
Kids compete for fun prizes and the thrill of yelling “Bingo” in these twice-weekly games, led by our Guest Services Attendants.

Zumba
Wednesdays
6:00 pm
Zumba is a fitness program that combines Latin and international music with dance moves, incorporating interval and resistance training.

Samba
Select Thursdays (check calendar for specific days)
6:30 pm
Samba is a fast-moving Latin dance. Come dance and get fit with us at the same time!

Imagination Playground
Everyday (Mon-Sun)

The “Big Blue Blocks” inspire young minds to craft their inventions, environments, and activities, fostering play patterns ranging from construction and pretend play to role-playing and inventive game creation.

Young Audiences of Houston Workshops
Sundays
6:00 pm
Enjoy free workshops with Young Audiences of Houston. Whether it’s music, dance, or theater, these workshops inspire young minds and foster artistic expression. Each event we host a different workshop.
Woodchase Park
Located at 3901 Woodchase Drive (just south of Westpark Drive), Woodchase Park will feature a children’s play area, dog park, water misting feature, community garden, restrooms, public art, fitness space, a 2,700-square foot multi-purpose pavilion and 7,500-square foot activity lawn.
