Chase Bank will be leading Fun Money Games all week long, teaching kids about earning, spending and saving money. Today, park guests will also enjoy gardening activities with the Harris County Master Gardeners, plus face painting, lawn games and a lemonade stand with information about participating in this year’s nationwide Lemonade Day.
Mad Science will offer a lesson on Fun-damental Forces, offering kids a fun lesson in gravity, inertia and the basics of force. Kids will encounter and experiment with their own force of gravity. The gyroscope, a hot wheels loop-toloop and a centrifuge will enable the junior mad scientists to further explore the concepts of forces.
Today’s Young Audiences of Houston performance will be presented by arts partner Hope Cowan who will lead an interactive music performance. Guests will learn about the musical techniques composers use to tell their stories and relatethe musical ideas back to literary techniques.
