woodchase park news
Just one remaining section of concrete to be poured and some finishing touches - the parking lot at Woodchase Park is coming together.
Westchase District has relocated 17 Highrise Live Oaks from Westheimer.
Westchase District Board Chairman Harry Greenblatt and Westchase District VP Sherry Fox along with the construction crew from D.L. Meacham welcomed City of Houston Mayor Sylvester Turner on December 11.
Concrete is poured for the 2,700 square foot multi-purpose pavilion. Restroom facilities will be located within the pavilion.
General contractor D.L.. Meacham installs construction fencing to limit access to the site. They also move in their construction trailer, dumpsters and other equipment.
The undeveloped site is cleared of the existing brush and trash. Mature crape myrtles are left onsite and will be moved later to incorporate them into the park’s landscaping. The general contractor for the park is D.L. Meacham.
